Our Villa Soluna with its 8 bedrooms is located between the two beautiful cities of Malaga and Nerja.

In a family atmosphere, you can relax here in the pool area on a lounger or a covered outdoor bed, swim in the saltwater pool, enjoy your Ayurvedic food on the terrace, discover native plants in the Serene Garden, practice yoga and breathe on our yoga area, prepare your own pizza in our outdoor kitchen, listen to the gentle sound of the sea at the nearby natural beach (approx. 300 m), or climb the mountain around the corner to enjoy a breathtaking view.

The villa is quietly located in the small village of Monte Azul, just a stone's throw from the beach. It is 1.5 km to the nearest supermarket in Almayate and 5 km to the small town of Torre del Mar.

The rooms in our villa were freshly renovated and modernly furnished in early 2019. Each room has its own bathroom and a large window with access to the wraparound balcony. The neutral, natural colors emphasize the openness and clarity of the rooms.

El Sol

¡Hola! This is our sunshine room. Although the other rooms also get plenty of sun, this room scores highest in terms of hours of sunlight. From this room, you have direct access to the cozy balcony, where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. In addition, the large windows offer a magnificent view of the sea.

The room faces the Mediterranean Sea. The shared balcony is directly accessible via a large glass door. The room has its own bathroom, air conditioning, and is furnished for 2 people.

El Tauro

¡Hola! This room faces one of the 21 Osborne bulls in Andalusia, which were originally erected in 1956 for a brandy advertisement. From the large window, you can admire a panoramic view of the sea and mountains. The room faces the villa's inviting Serene Garden. The wraparound balcony gives you access to the wellness balcony.

The room faces east, where both a mountain and the sea are visible. The wraparound balcony is directly accessible via a large glass door. The room has its own bathroom, air conditioning, and is furnished for two people.

La Calma

¡Hola! This room is located on the corner of the house, facing inland towards the mountains, which is why it tends to be quiet even when the villa is fully booked. From here, you have a good view of the villa's serene garden, but you can also see a little bit of the sea. The wraparound balcony gives you access to the wellness balcony.

The wraparound balcony is directly accessible via a large glass door. The room has its own bathroom, air conditioning, and is furnished for 2 people.

La Montana

¡Hola! These rooms are located at the corner of the house, facing inland towards the mountains, which is why it is rather quiet here even when the villa is fully booked. The apartment is divided into a larger and a smaller bedroom, as well as a bathroom. The bathroom is accessible separately from both rooms. The wraparound balcony gives you access to the wellness balcony.

Each room has a large glass door that leads directly onto the wraparound balcony, and air conditioning. One room can accommodate 2 people, the other one person (or two children).

¡Hola! From this room, you can see the trunk of the giant palm tree from the green garden right outside the window. From this room, you have direct access to the cozy balcony, where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.

El Mediterraneo

¡Hola! From this room, you can enjoy a direct view of the Alborán Sea, the westernmost part of the Mediterranean. In good weather conditions, you can even see the Moroccan Atlas Mountains from here. You also have direct access to the cozy balcony, where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.

The room has its own bathroom, air conditioning, and is furnished for 2 people. The large glass door gives you direct access to the shared balcony.

La Luna

¡Hola! This room is the only room on the ground floor that is available for rent. From here, you have direct access to “el corazón,” the living and dining room of the house. A small balcony that extends across the entire front of the house provides immediate access to the green garden with a pool. We have named this room Luna, as the moon is associated with the yin energy of the earth.

The room faces the Mediterranean Sea with its glass door. It is located on the ground floor, has its own bathroom, air conditioning, and is furnished for 2 people.

The room for you

Our ratings

The villa is located not far from Malaga Airport between the sea and the mountains.
All rooms have been newly renovated and furnished with great attention to detail. The view from the balcony is simply enchanting, especially when the sun rises and sets.
Between yoga sessions, I swam in the beautiful saltwater pool or relaxed on a lounger.
The highlight for me was the yoga plateau from which you can look out over palm trees, the sea, the sky, and the mountains. Simply fantastic! The yoga teachers were very well trained and responded to personal needs.
The Ayurvedic food was incredibly delicious and really good for you.
The hosts were always very helpful and friendly.
In addition to Malaga city, you can also go on other beautiful excursions (e.g.) to the mountains.
Conclusion: A retreat that I fondly remember, would recommend to anyone, and will definitely visit again.
